We believe in your child's genius! Bessarian Related Services Inc. was founded to meet each student where they are. To help accelerate their development and/or learning in a culturally competent and responsive way.
Our approach is student-centered. Although we work in collaboration with parents, the student's teachers, and trained professionals to deliver related services to students with a learning disability, emotional disturbance, speech and language (other) impairment, or who are at risk of failing or repeating a grade level. We deliver IEP mandated services that incorporate the student's interests and goals into their learning plans, setting them on the path to take agency for their own lifelong learning.
Additionally, Bessarian provides advocacy to assist parents with navigating the special education process. Even if your child has not been evaluated or recently started showing signs of learning or developmental delays, we can assist. We can help your family get the services and interventions to address challenging behavioral issues, increase on task behavior, promote improved social interaction in children affected by ASD, dyslexia, and other developmental and behavioral disorders. Securing the right educational resources for your child will determine the course of their life

ABA Therapy
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy focuses on improving specific behaviors, such as social skills, communication, reading, and academics as well as adaptive learning skills
Emotional Support
BRS works directly with individuals to identify emotional and behavioral problems in an effort to develop a plan that will enable the student to achieve their potential in school
Learning Support
We help to strengthen subject comprehension, boost confidence, and build important learning skills
Occupational Therapy
A variety of therapeautic interventions, including sensory integration, that addresses a child's ability to improve function in any of the following areas : sensory processing, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, handwriting, visual perceptual abilities, self-care
Physical Therapy
The main goals of physical therapy are to improve strength, balance, coordination, and/or mobility
Speech and Language Therapy
Assessment and treatment of speech and language delays and deficits to help children develop skills for successful communication
Most importantly, these services are provided at no costs to parents/caregivers of children or youth with an IEP
